• An annual herb that blooms between July and September. 
  • Often compared with sage and thyme. It has a slightly peppery, pungent, aromatic flavor. It blends well with other herbs such as basil, bay leafmarjoram, thyme and rosemary.

Common Use: Commonly known as a key ingredient in herbes de Provence, savory is also used in Hungarian, German, and Romanian cuisines to flavor beans and cabbage. It is an excellent seasoning for grilled vegetables and meats.
Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry place in a sealed container.
