Mysticism without Mystery presents an informative and stirring explanation of mysticism in laymen's terms. Featuring the stories of mystics who lived all over the world, the reader comes to understand the succession of phases encountered during a mystical journey, ending in a mystical state. Albert Hanken studied at the Twente and Free University in Holland, and at Ohio State University, where he obtained his Ph.D. degree. He became an Associate Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology, full Professor at the University Twente and visiting Professor at Eindhoven, both in the Netherlands.
