  • A leafy, fuzzy plant that grows in a rosette shape with a shoot emerging from the middle that produces small, densely grouped, yellow flowers. The flannel-like leaves are harvested in the second year.
  • Has a long history of use in herbal medicine, mostly for the treatment of respiratory ailments such as coughs, hoarseness, colds, earaches, flu symptoms, allergies, and sore throat. 
  • Can also be used topically to soothe wounds, burns and irritated skin.

Suggested Use: Can be used alone to brew a mild, earthy, and pleasant tasting tea, or it can be blended with other herbs such as gotu kola, licorice root, or calendula. Also used in ear oil recipes.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.
