Suggested Use: Starting with the dry leaves, remove any foreign material such as shells or discolored leaves. Rinse the leaves well as they can have sand and salt stuck to the surface or rolled up into the dried creases. Place the cleaned leaves in a bowl, cover with filtered water, and soak for 8 hours or longer. Once soaked, the material will be rubbery and smooth. Rinse again and place the clean, salt-free leaves in a saucepan. Cover with water, bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 12-15 mins. Once it is cool enough for your blender blend on high until smooth. Pour the mixture into a jar and refrigerate. As the liquid cools, it will thicken into a mildly flavored gel that blends easily into drinks and smoothies.

Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry place in an airtight container. The gel should be refrigerated.
Safety: Seaweeds contain naturally high levels of iodine. This product is harvested from the sea. Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to fish or shellfish.
